Hey everyone!

Still waiting on a few teams and officials for the quiz this saturday at Chicago 1st!  We haven't heard any word on lunch yet, but they usually have their cafe open for people wanting to stay in.  Check in will start at 8:45!  Scott and I have both been extremely busy, so please know if you've called, emailed or messaged us and we haven't responded, we aren't ignoring you, we've both just been working a lot, and getting caught up from Holiday events (our tree is still up!).

Quiz November 10th

Posted 21 Oct, 2012 04:04 PM by Ron

The November Quiz will be held at Danville Southside.  We realize that this is a super long trip for all of you, but as you make your way to Danville, remember that they make the trip every month to join us.  We do want to be understanding of this being that distance for everyone, and not just one team.  We will start registration 45 minutes later at 9:15.  We are hopeful to begin quizzing by 9:45 or 10.  In order to do this, we are asking that everyone do their best to be in Danville no later than 9:30 so we can get the computers loaded and start the quiz.

They will be providing lunch, and we are asking that you plan to eat at the church.  As always, we encourage this as it supports the local program AND promotes community among the teams.  This month, if for any reason you plan to not eat at the church, bring your lunch as we will have shortened lunch periods to accomodate the late start and you will not have time to go out for lunch.

Registration is already open for the November quiz, so please register officials, equipment and teams as soon as possible.  We know that there are always some last minute changes, but please do your best to double check your rosters on Thursday morning to make any final changes so that we can get schedules made and move things along quickly on Saturday morning. It would also be helpful that if you decide NOT to come to the quiz that you shoot me an email or text so that we aren't waiting for you on Saturday.

See ya tomorrow!

Hey everyone!

We got enough officials and equipment and we're excited to see you in the morning!  Big thanks to everyone that stepped up this month!  We need to do an officials training so we aren't always short--start thinking about adults, parents and college aged folks that would be interested in this training!
